Our fencing systems are engineered for the harsh Canadian climate, utilizing the most advanced production technologies available. We stand behind our quality with a robust warranty program that delivers long-term peace of mind for both residential and commercial properties.

1. Composite Fencing (WPC)

Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) fencing blends the natural look of wood with the durability of advanced polymers. Specifically engineered to withstand the Canadian freeze-thaw cycle, our WPC systems stand as a long-lasting, high-performance alternative to traditional lumber.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

CanaBound Fencing Systems warrants to the original registered purchaser that our wood composite (WPC) fencing products will be free from manufacturing defects under normal and proper use.

  • Structural Integrity: Warranted against rotting, splitting, or fungal decay caused by environmental exposure.
  • Material Quality: Protection against significant delamination or structural breakdown under normal weathering conditions.
  • Termite Resistance: The WPC formulation is naturally resistant to termites.
  • Moisture Resilience: Engineered for low moisture absorption to prevent the warping typical of natural wood.
  • Registered Coverage: This warranty is valid for the lifetime of the original homeowner (Residential) or for a period of 20 years for Commercial applications.

2. Vinyl Fencing (PVC)

Limited Lifetime Warranty (30 Years)

Our premium vinyl fencing products are warranted to the registered homeowner against any manufacturing defects under normal and proper use conditions.

  • Coverage: Protection against peeling, flaking, blistering, and corrosion.
  • Duration: Valid for a period of 30 years from the original date of purchase.
  • Non-Prorated: The value of your coverage does not depreciate over the course of the warranty window.
  • Transferable: The warranty may be transferred one time during the lifetime of the original homeowner to a subsequent property owner.

Colour Lock™ Fade Protection

CanaBound utilizes an exclusive formulation that sets the bar higher than the industry standard for PVC colors. Our Colour Lock™ technology protects the aesthetic life of your fence.

  • Excessive Fade Protection: Coverage against fading beyond normal weathering caused by manufacturing defects.
  • Acrylic Formulation: Highest grade acrylic stabilizers used for long-term color and luster preservation.
  • UV Resistance: Essential UV inhibitors uniform throughout the entire thickness of the PVC profile.
  • Northern Resilience: Specifically engineered to withstand harsh temperature fluctuations and extreme weathering.

3. Malden Metals Ornamental Fencing

Standard Terms

The surface finish on all Malden Metals ornamental panels and posts is warranted, under normal and intended usage, against cracking, peeling, flaking, blistering, or corroding from the original date of purchase.

Note: Normal and intended usage excludes physical damage, abrasion, or exposure to heavy salt spray on the protective coating.

Warranty Duration by Proximity

The length of coverage is determined by the installation's proximity to saltwater or the coastline:

Distance to Saltwater / Coastline Warranty Duration
Greater than 10 KM 20 Years
1 KM to 10 KM 10 Years
Less than 1 KM 5 Years

*Regardless of distance, excessive exposure to salt spray will be considered grounds for voiding any warranty obligations.

Critical Installation Requirements

To maintain warranty validity, any cuts made in the field must be immediately sealed according to the following protocol:

Step 1: Remove all metal shavings and debris from the cut area.
Step 2: Apply a zinc-rich primer to completely seal the raw cut edge and any drilled holes.
Step 3: Once dry, apply two coats of matching color Malden touch-up paint.

Failure to follow these sealing steps on exposed surfaces will void the ornamental warranty.

4. Barrier Fence Sound Barrier Fencing

30-Year Limited Warranty | Pre-Textured Barrier Fence Panels

Barrier Fence warrants that within Canada, under normal use conditions, the panel integrity will remain intact for the periods specified below.

Steel Panel Integrity (30 Years)

The steel panel will retain its structural integrity when installed according to the manufacturer's instructions for thirty (30) years.

Manufacturing Integrity (10 Years)

Covers the integrity of the factory pre-textured finish for the first ten (10) years following delivery.

Fade Protection

Coverage against excessive fading caused by manufacturing defects beyond natural weathering.

Terms and Conditions

  • The warranty applies to factory-finished pre-textured systems engineered for the Canadian climate.
  • Panels must be installed in a manner that prevents standing water on components.
  • The buyer must inspect materials prior to installation to limit replacement costs.
  • The warranty extends exclusively to the property owner at the installation site.
